Open Wheel Cars


“The Twister”,  Hill Brothers/Sidles Motor Supply Modified Sprinter driven by Tucson-based Hank Arnold who read rule book as “suggestions” then mounted a supercharger on the car’s 327 small block Chevy.  Needless to say, it was a winner!
#1- 1934, Burt Engineering/ Miller Special.  Mauri Rose won the AAA National Championship driving this car in 1936.
#5 – Glorious restoration of an Offy-powered roadster that ran at the “500” in the early 40’s
#17 - Ferrari built in 1991, ran F-1 driven by Alain Prost.
#17 - Kimberly/Cooper Special was the first modern day, rear-engine car to race at Indy in 1962 driven by Jack Brabham, Sr.
#86 -  Lola Model T- 33 Can-Am car originally ran a Traco 5.0 liter Chevy, now powered by a Chevy 350 “crate motor”, looks great, doesn’t go very fast.
